Yes, had a super trip to Puerto Vallarta again this May and will be back in August, then October/November. Have released my guide now:

I have stopped making my Puerto Vallarta Restaurant Guide Beck's Best free due to the high cost to me personally. For years, I hiked from spot to spot, dining, taking notes and pictures, talking to owners, managers, waiters, hosts, etc. Though fun and rewarding, it has gotten quite costly figuring in the food and bevs, plane fares, condo rentals and taxis that I realized it was time for a small compensation for this work which is a great benefit to visitors and residents alike, edited almost daily. I do not receive free meals and have called it my labor of love. I have started publishing works in the major PV area newspapers and magazines and have an upcoming radio program.

I am proud that it has become the best restaurant guide of the Puerto Vallarta Bay Area, Bahia de Banderas.

Lunch special comida corrida [fast food!] 40p changes daily, choice of 10 entrées, 3 soups, warm tortillas and fresh agua of the day. Often offered: lomo chipotle [pork loin], pollo almendrado, bistek Méxicana [thin steak], chuletas de puerco [pork chops], machaca con huevos [shredded beef and eggs] and pollo spaghetti. Horchata [almond-rice cooler] or Jamaica [hibiscus flowers] drinks. Small, simple, may share table with others, mainly locals. A quick, satisfying in and out spot!

Owners Kerry Campbell and Neil Coleman serve biscuits and sausage gravy 35p, sesame chicken wings 35p, fine sandwiches as Thai chicken wrap, pork loin pita and Italiano all 60p, Asian chicken or chef salad 60p, soup 25/35p, house made desserts as key lime, pecan and frozen peanut butter pies all 35p, turtle cake and chocolate espresso mousse both 40p and nightly specials from 6pm in this neighborhood spot since 2001. Mochas, lattes, soda fountain drinks with ice cream and smoothies all 30p. San Sebastian coffee beans 70p/lb. Antonio Marquez performs 7pm, call first. No CC.

Pirri and Señora Joya serve fresh excellent International and Mexican classical entrées or breakfast with a pleasant view. Breathtaking 150-foot waterfall, best mid-June to early October. Take a dip! Local live music sometimes.

Most of us love to dine when in a new place or learn more about the town and area where we live! I live in Puerto Vallarta part-time and have been visiting since 1979, so if you desire info, write me anytime. Now you can purchase my famous spiral bound 109 page 362+
restaurant guide which has become a hit with visitors and local residents alike with places ranging from street food to 5* dining. After 20+ years in the restaurant business, I have learned much about
knowing and making fine food.
