There are a few here, but I think they mostly just chat in the other threads.

Actually, there are more than a few here, but this is a relatively new conference. We encourage others to post here.

Bienvenidos Vegan Alex. We're all in the closet hiding in other threads. Just kidding. I'm a "g", but have no gay-specific travel issues so have no reason to post here.

I am a lesbian but am at a traveling stand still at the moment. Trust me...as soon as the money flow starts actually flowing I will be posting questions and such here.

Antti J, how do you like KL so far? What are you studying there?

Hey Pete Teoh,
I'm studying tourism here for one semester. KL.. well, some parts I like very much such as the over all "big city vibe" (or whatever), variety of restaurants and such, Petronas at night looks quite pretty.. oh! and the huge bookstores Things I like a little less are the congested (and random-ish) traffic, hazardous sewer coverings and big piles of smelly trash.. but the latter one seems to be more of a problem in the suburbs and not so much the city center itself. Living in a semi dodgy suburb has probably affected my views on KL somewhat. KL has its points, but as a tourist destination I'd say 3 days here would be enough to see what there is to see. After that I'd head to maybe Melaka, one of the nature parks or the islands.. To stay a little on the topic, I'm kinda ashamed I haven't even paid a visit to any of the lgbt (or partially anyway) clubs. I blame the suburbs! My two flatmates did go to Liquid last weekend tho, but I am trying to save up for my trips to Borneo and Cambodia so I stayed home :P --- "I'm wired to the world, that's how I know everything. When I get around to my RTW, I'll probably be seeking out other lgbt and lgbt-friendly folks to connect with. But this will likely be years and years away.

There are many LGBT travelers... or at least LGBT people who like to travel! I'm certain the host of this forum would love it if ALL those travelers spent a little time posting here. Perhaps, by all of us who have signed-up, could begin threads of interest to those who are searching for information, the postings would increase.
I am certainly not implying that the past threds were of no interest to the LGBT traveling community... they're wonderful! I'm just saying that there could more! Much more! I'd love to see more postings in the "how gay is it where you live?" Or perhaps "Would you say your city/country criminalizes, tolerates or accepts LGBT tourists?" In fact, I'm going to do just that!
