I am planning a trip to the Pride weekend for my college's Gay Straight Alliance. I've never been to a Pride event, and won't get the chance to this year either. (I'll be in Italy) So I was wondering if you all could help me out. There will be about 12 people going.
Here are my many questions. 1. Will it be difficult to use public transportation on Pride weekend? Would it be harder to have a couple of cars in the city? 2. Which cheap hotels would you suggest? 3. Would it be better to stay outside of SF and travel in for the activitys? 4. What is the Gay Nightlife like on that weekend? Overly crazy or just right. 5. Any "secrets" about that weekend or SF that are must sees/dos? Thanks!
