I am a single Gay man living in Chicago that wonts to do some thing for christmas. I moved from Uk this year and can not leave US as Green card been processed. Can you sugest anywere I should go for the festive time. Happy snow boarding or sun as long as it is a fun christmas, not in to to much clubing but happy to do it. Come on guy you help here.

You want to visit San Francisco.

Or, a little closer to Chicago...NYC, Chelsea to be exact.

It really depends on your priorities, Andre. The snowboarding in San Francisco sucks (because there's no snow) but you could visit SF and then get some snowboarding in by heading to the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

The Chelsea neighborhood in Manhattan is a gay heaven that would offer no end of gay-oriented clubbing and festivities, as would San Francisco, but again, you have to get out of the city to snow board. (And I don't know where, but I'm sure there's some place.)

Sun versus snowboard.....or both?

One place that I can think of that might deliver everything on your list is....Denver.

No end of snow-related fun outside of the city. The city itself will be festive enough and decked out for Christmas. There is *some* gay nightlife/clubbing. And, AND....even though you're guaranteed snow....it also tends to be quite sunny there even in the winter.

A single gay man in Chicago? At Christmastime? Go to South Florida. It's trés gay. Start in Ft. Lauderdale (the highest per capita of gays in the US) and work your way down to South Beach in Miami. You will need it. It will help you with the Chicago winter that awaits you upon your return. Truthfully, you may never return to Chicago. Cheers.
