Thought I'd share with everyone how I make lots of quick cash in small amounts of time.

Phase 1 clinical research:
http://www.gpgp.net <---this is for a worldwide directory.

http://www.ppdi.com/study_volunteers/phase_i_clinic/opportunities.htm <---this is where i do them.

This isn't for everyone but it's also not as bad as you might think. I'm currently using this to save money now to take a trip. I'm hoping to save $8 grand by the end of the year this way and I just started saving this month(July)!

Anyways hope this helps someone out.

Looks like all the good money is in being surgically sterile.

This almost seems like too much of a sacrifice for me. But to each their own.

I think this is a great idea and I tried really hard to talk my boyfriend into it. I am waaaay too much of a baby to do something like this. I'm already dreading the travel shots...although i have never been paid for shots or having blood drawn, i guess that does make things different!

Why does nearly every woman's "good idea" require that her boyfriend suffer?

hahaha..... No that is not true Smile

I tried to talk him into it because one time he told me that being in the hospital is like a nice vacation since people bring you food and you can sit around all day and watch tv. Of course I thought that was completely warped and I still do but I thought hey this could work out well for him since he could do that and make $$.

why he doesn't want to do it w/ money involved is beyond me - maybe he is trying to make me suffer...hahahaha

Well I'm in one right now for $6000. It's a total of 20 days broken up into two 10 day stays and two 2 day stays taking a total of 6 weeks. The blood draws are not that bad except we do get most of them on one day. But you can find some with very few blood draws that only take maybe a week to finish. Oh yeah and when you call to do a phone screening they tell you everything about it i.e. drug, amount of draws, total time to complete.

Hm... that could be interesting. I may actually check these out sometime.

And katied: I followed the first link given, not the second (the worldwide directory), and made my way to the Ontario studies (and they have a bunch of other provinces too).
