hi folks. i know that airports usu. have the airline ticket offices where you can do wierd transactions like redeem a voucher. where else might i find an airline ticket office (in this case, for American Airlines?) any tips? im 2 hours from an airport and carless, besides, so that aint gonna work. any leads to sites which might list all of a given company's airline offices?

Hey Zopa,

I think you're out of luck if you're in a hurry. Maybe call the 800 number for AA. Those in-city offices tend to be in the airlines respective hub cities, plus other major cities in the main biz district. Good luck.

Or....maybe....long shot....are you near a dinky regional airport that American Eagle serves?

Hey, Zopa!

I assume you're in a hurry? If not, you CAN redeem them by mail - you reserve your ticket by phone, they give you a reference number, you sign your voucher (and keep a copy!) and send it to them. As soon as they receive the voucher, they ticket your flight. I think I used priority mail so I could track the little bugger.

Welp, I think that generally all air travel purchased with vouchers must be completed by the expiration date.

Prolly not what you wanted to hear, right? <g>
