I have lived in Chicago. Currently in living in NYC. Have visited LA, Toronto and Montreal, Philly, Boston, and many more. And without a doubt, it is NYC is my favorite. For a traveller, here is why. Everything, absolutely everything, is here. You can buy anything, you can eat anything, you can see most things. Ok, I am going to back off of eat anything, too. I can think of a few things you can not eat - dog for one. You can feel like you have traveled to other countries without even leaving the city. Plus, and this is a biggie, the public transportation here is unbelievable. There is almost no place you can't get on the public transportation system and I rarely take buses.

Have I mentioned that I have been gone traveling for 18 months and I am really happy to be back? Can you tell?

No love for Madison, WI? Great town. Same with Newport, RI.

It's been said, but NYC, San Fran and Montreal would probably be my top 3.

On the shortlist of 2 to visit: New Orleans and Seattle.

Worst city? Tallahassee, FL.

Its a toss of for between Seattle, WA and Atlanta, GA. Love 'em both!
