Lost in Place

Hello,

My wife, myself, and 7 month old will be looking for a place to stay in Vancouver, BC this summer while on a road trip. Anyone recommend a place? Even a neighborhood...or location in the city or surrounding areas that might have a nice view of Vancouver? Under $150? We really don't know the area at all...and we're just beginning our research. Thanks!

Check out the hostel near Stanley Park.

They have family rooms, I believe.

Because you have a wee one, you might want to avoid Granville Street downtown and anywhere near the central train station/bus depot. They are really not kid friendly.

Hostels might not be the friendliest, but if you want a nice location with some form of nightlife, nearish to the ocean, you might want to check out the Sylvia Hotel.
