Wow, i just finished my last final of the first completed first year of my program. YAY!! Only two more years to go... Thankfully, it will be spotted with travel. In less than two weeks I leave for a two week road trip across Canada to my great co-op job in the Yukon. I'm also in the talks with a classmate to possibly going to southern France or Spain for reading week (spring break) next year. Anyways, I'm so excited about finishing a satisfying year that i had to tell someone. To all the fellow college/university students, have fun at the end,(good luck on exams if you still have some). To the highschool students, i'm sorry, but you still got a couple more months to go... but you'll make it.

Have fun,
Diana

Check out my Travel Blog It's currently out of date, been a little lazy... But i'll get to it soon. (Did I also mention I was a procrastinator????)

My last class is May 13th, but seeing as how I've had a total of nine classes canceled in the two courses I'm enrolled in, the celebration has already started because it looks like everyone's getting sympathy A's! Hooray!

I'm doing my midterms right now.

MIDTERMS! Booo Korean schedule.

Although in a year I'll be saying the same thing, only it will be the end of my last year. Scary.

Jeal.ous.

If I were still back at my university in the US, I would be finishing up the year the second week of May. Instead, I'm in Spain, where the classes don't end until the end of May. Then the exams run until the second or third week of June, which basically means I get a short summer break b/c my classes back home start up in August...

Ahhh you crazy kids and your school talk.

Makes me long for those days when I was in school and looked forward to having breaks between semesters/summers.

Good times. Enjoy them while you can.

I just had those weeks, so i feel your pain Jillian. Good luck. My best advice, get some sleep even if it takes away from your "writing time", id rather have good work vs. crappy work done fast. I think i'm the only one that's done this early. I think it's my program at my school, becuase we have a 5 month working co-op terms vs. just 2 or 3 months... either way, i likes it! Big Grin

Just got my midterm marks in today, so im halfway done the last semester of high school. I go right up to the end of June. Anyways, it turns out ive dropped close to 30% in one of my classes, so i think ive gotta start picking that up. the end is so close, yet so far.

Marisa- are you going to UT? I loved my years there, and I love Austin!

Grad school is a different beast. The end of classes means I get to spend more time in the lab! Yeah!

I am just about to end my first year in grad school. I honestly didn't know how much work school could be until I got to this point. But, after the two looming assignments I have due this week are over, all I have left are finals, then I'm on a plane to Trinidad!!!
Only 5 more years of grad school leftSmile

ymamy, I'm just taking a trade class at ACC....that's why I love it! No tests, no midterms, no assigments, no studying! Razz I did my undergrad at U Houston and UT - San Antonio, though.

awwww yeeeea!!! Finished my last big project yesterday and now I am FREE

The best part, was the paper I turned in was so rough, I felt compelled to apologize to the prof. So I apologize, he says dont worry, I apologize, he says dont worry.... tells me, grade-wise, dont worry... but it is really horrible I say, failed on all levels... he says kind words about it being a part of something else then, and adds "If I am not worried about it grade-wise, then you should not be either"

I almost hugged him.

*does end-of-semester dance of joy*
