Would any of you opt to go on a packaged trip such as NOLS, Outward Bound, Where There Be Dragons, LeapNow, Interim Programs, Semester At Seat etc. instead of going it alone?

Hi there. I don't have much to tell you on this, just that my friend did a trip through Outward Bound and she thought is was awesome. I think traveling w people would be way more exciting than doing it alone.

I'd be open to it...probably for a leg of an RTW, but not for the whole thing (Privacy and independence go a long way). It'd definitely be more attractive if a "group" thing went through a more dangerous area (Petra, M.E., etc)
