My final exam results come out tomorrow!!!!!!!!!

Well 4 am uk time to be exact! So we are now 6 hours and counting till the time arrives!!! just really needed to share my angst!

Do i get up at 4am to check (does that make me a geek?) or do i just wait until i wake up at 8 am????

how well do you think you did? i completely fucked up one quarter.. a year ago.. and i still haven't checked my grades for those classes.

sleep in. The scores will be there even after you've had 8 comfortable hours of sleep. Another hour either way isn't going to change your marks, so why not sleep a little longer?

Funny. I have this recurring nightmare, only about once every 2-3 years. It's goofy. The nightmare is that I forgot to take, or repeatedly failed to show up for and therefore failed, one of my required courses. So I didn't really graduate. No diploma, etc. It's absolutely ridiculous because I did graduate. I have the diploma. And it is of no consequence one way or the other with where my life is now. But I still have that nightmare sometimes. Wierd.

Thought i would share what actually happened on the day of hell.............

Well i decided to sleep in. Got up at my normal 7.45, opened up my laptop, logged on to the net and then proceeded to try and access my student portal web page (where my results should have been displayed)........ for 1 and a half hours!!!! The universities server had crashed because of so many people trying to access the site.

Anyway to cut a long story short, they eventually handed them out from the med school office. Was very very scared opening that letter but its all good in the end!

I did fine.......... and needless to say there was much drinking later on that evening!

Yippee........ i am so glad i only have to go through the whole results thing once more in my life (well hopefully!)
