So I am starting my Master's program January '05 for Intercultural Relations (w/ a concentration in Study Abroad/Student Exchange Counseling), and I NEED to have an Intermediate language speaking proficiency by the time I graduate. I have a background in French, probably somewhere between FR. I and FR II. I was wondering if any of you out there have gone through any language immersion courses that they could recommend, or any techniques out there that would make learning French easier. I am currently enrolled in FR. II through adult education, which is a good warm-up...I basically have 2 1/2 yrs to get proficient, and I was wondering the best way to go about it.
