So I'm a sophomore in college and I want to go on a spring break trip. I have a few criteria and was just looking for suggestions of cool places to go. A place not too expensive to get too (hopefully 550/600 max just on getting there), a place that has something else to do besides get drunk and lie on a beach, but still has an opportunity to be around people my own age and do some amount of partying. I went on a trip to Costa Rica last year and that seems like the type of trip I'd like to go on. Anyways, any suggestions would be helpful, Thanks!

you should check out frommer's.. there are some student-oriented guides written about most of hte major cities in the world. i think it's on their website. there's sections on nightlife, what the 20-30 crowd usually does there, etc.
