i was just wondering if anyone knows whether it would be hard to find part time work in copenhagen if you are an international student?
i am from australia, and will be studying at university of copenhagen for a year next year, and my study permit allows me to work for 15 hours per week.
what kind of chances would i have of getting work in a cafe/bar or anything else? where would i go to get information on jobs for international students?

A lot of this depends on if you speak Danish. Even though just about everyone will speak at least some English, it's still hard to find work if everyone else is having to accommodate you.

Personally, I would look through the university's job placement/work-study system, or whatever equivalent they have. I haven't looked into how it is for students with visas, but at least generally employers have to prove that no citizen can do the job before they hire a foreigner (I think).

You could always post some fliers up offering your services as an English tutor ;-) Good luck!
