Well, I just bought my plane ticket to france! I guess there is no backing out now....I'm feeling a tremendous rush. I'm extremely excited and quite a bit nervous. 4 1/2 months in France, I've never done anything like this before...I'm freaking out, I can't wait!
3 more months to go!

i can imagine the freakout, I've got 11 months until my trip and i'm already super pumped for it. Where abouts in France are you going, are you doing a working holiday or just seeing France? Planning on going anywhere else in europe?

kanadiankid...
I will be going to Chambéry, France. It's in the southeastern part of the country, very close to Lyon and Grenoble. I'll be there for about 4 1/2 months going to school...language intensive. I thought I would settle down by now, but no, I'm sill freaking out with excitement!!!! I had my conversation french class this morning and another girl was talking about her trip over there, and brought pictures and maps...etc and my heart started beating ridiculously fast! AHHHHHHH!!!
I have so much other stuff to do, but this is all I can think about! Woooohooo!

where are you headed KanadianKid?

Wow, KanadianKid...
that sounds like a pretty nice trip. I took a year of after high school and it was the best decision. I didn't get to go abroad but I did do some travelling in the states...pretty much the whole western half. I took 3 months and just drove everywhere!
I hope your year off and trip to Europe teaches you alot!
