The last time I saw my daughter a wave was breaking over her- she sank into the lagoon and I did not see her come back up. Then I saw my husband, alive but alone, and realized my other daughter was gone as well. The winds were on us, the waves in the lagoon were at least 5 meters, it was getting dark, and I had no hope for us..”
