Just wanted to share this with the travel community. We've posted on professional journalist sites etc., but I know there are a lot of closet writers out there. I see you scribbling postcards and emails, amusing the hell out of yourself. Come out of the closet!

ARCANA CUSTOM MEDIA is publishing a series of travel books based on international adversity, misfortune, hard knocks and downright calamity. Your irreverent tone and sheer comic genius will be rewarded with a pittance of pay and a perennial place in the ivory tower of lowbrow literature. Book topics will include horrid hotels; hellish holiday destinations; and nightmarish cruises, flights, and road trips. Functional literacy appreciated, but not required.

Length of stories is variable, with a minimum of 150 words. Pay will be $50 + byline per published story. ARCANA CUSTOM MEDIA buys All Rights to accepted and published submissions. Payment issued only upon publication. Reprints of previously published materials will be considered, provided the contributor owns the rights. Humorous photos to accompany stories are encouraged.
