Can anyone recommend a good all-leather hiking boot that will not be a bear to break in? Thanks!

That is a very tough question...since leather typically needs a break in period, or at least the ones that I have used need a break in period.

Some good brands in my experience are Timberland, Dexter, Colorado. Speaking of Boots, BootsnAll should have more info on boots on the site, don't you think?

Definitely should be more info about boots on this site! Does the subject merit its own forum I wonder???

I agree that we should have a boots poll here. Eventually we'll have a system where we can have persnal profile photos and maybe a palce for a boot photo too.

I agree there should be boots section, considering the sites name! My own personal favourites, although not full leather, are Hitec's trail boots. I'm on my second pair and they're great lightweight yet still tough, yet still smartish boots.
