I pay $2.99/month to have access to Writer's Market. Do you know that huge book that most writer's usually buy to get the lowdown on publications? Well, this is their online version. It's slightly cheaper if you buy it for the whole year. What I really like about them is their search functions. Not only is it by subject, but you can also search by pay rate, online guidlines, whether or not they take email submissions, etc. Another writer I know likes their submission tracker.

Also, use the search function on Written Road to find info like this. A while back I posted about another online database. Though I only focused on their travel element, you could hit a few other buttons and go to their main area or choose another theme to search.

"Guidelines Database and Travel Ezines"

Have fun!

I've just been checking the websites of magazines and seeing if they have any info online. Many of them have quite detailed contrib guidelines and I've been saving them in a folder in my favorites for easy access.

Another good list of leads is the weekly feature "How to Pitch..." on MediaBistro.com. Basically they are interviews with magazine editors with what they look for in a submission.

Odd that they bounced, I have them in my inbox.

Thanks a ton!

See my post in the feedback forum, it's things like this that made me say what I did. Big Grin

The only problem now is that I deleted Acrobat reader because I don't have enough space on my hard drive for it Razz Oh well, it'll be work downloading again.
