Hey,

I travelled around South America for nearly a year in 1980 and just about twenty years later I finally put pen to paper and came up with something like 50 pages of reminiscences. I recorded my route, highlights and memories of the trip - quite a bit about people we (my hubby and I) met along the way. I have sent in the form to set up a blogs page called Viva South America (though not up as yet) does it sound like the kind of thing anyone out there might like to have a look at? By the way there are some great shots as well?!?!

I must say after having had a little look through it looks like most of the posts are very short - maybe people don't like hanging around reading tooo much.

I think it sounds like a great idea. Will you have any future travels to South America to update it with?

Or perhaps the guys would be interested in you submitting your stories for their Travel Articles section.

Just another travel addict getting Out of dodge...

No I'm not planning to go back tooo many other places to go and tooo little time. But it could be interesting to read comments from people going to the same places today. The first of the instalments have gone online but not headed under South America category as yet - am not familiar with the precedures - but am looking forward to this part of the setup. Love the home page and think the site is great. There has been a little talk about submitting something for publication but probably the blog page will be the end of it - the writing being a bit tooo quirky and not really speaking to the current readers. Unless, it was possibly framed in the sense of - Aunty Joan does South America my nieces an nephews would like that.
