If you have a travel experience that you think is worthy of being published, the opportunity for you is now. We are currently accepting travel stories that can range from humorous to adventurous to inspiring for an upcoming compilation. The only criterion is they have to be true and written by you. We are looking for first hand experiences and want to offer you the chance to share your stories and lessons with the world. Once the stories have been selected, their accuracy and authenticity will be cross referenced, but nothing will be published until you, the writer, agree. These are your stories, and we want them to be your words. In addition, a contract will be signed, you will be paid and your story will be shared with everyone.
Please submit all stories in a Word formatted document. They must be a minimum of 500 words, but not to exceed a maximum of 3000 words. They are to be written in the first person. Dates, places, times and events must be accurately used (if selected, these facts will be cross-referenced).
In addition to the story, please include the following information • Author’s Name • Email address • Phone number • Mailing address
All entries must be submitted via email as an attachment to RTWpublications@gmail.com by April 1st, 2007. Please save the attachment as lastname.firstname.doc (e.g. smith.john.doc). If you have additional questions, please email them to questionsRTWpublications@gmail.com.

The stories need not be previously unpublished. Also, while the project is in accordance and has input from several magazine editors, the final product will be a book of travel stories. Although professional consulting and editing are being used, the stories will remain as original and authentic as possible with all recognition going to their original authors.

Multiple stories may be submitted, for we are looking for the best stories regardless of their source. Also, if your story is selected, compensation agreed upon by both parties will be paid.

I did submit something, along with an e-mail to the correct address with some questions about all this, and have yet to hear anything back. Was it received?
