It's a non-paying position. That's all I need to know about it.

The more of this goes on, the fewer paying markets remain as website managers don't see why they should be paying for content. No thanks.

We realize that an unpaid position such as this isn't for everyone. It's important to note, however, that some people might be interested in contributing to the community we have at Vagablogging with the intention of gaining more than just what little monetary return a position like this would pay even if paying our contributers was something we had the means to do. Is it uncouth to quote oneself?

Also, I will quote from the BootsnAll Travel Writers FAQ regarding whether or not they pay their contributers, which sums up nicely why we also are offering an unpaid position:
