Holds PhD in Packing |
I was wondering if anyone has gone to one of these before. I signed up for the "Inside Secrets of Travel Writing" in NYC, and I'm wondering what to expect. It says not to bring a portfolio, but I'm wondering if I should bring some bit of my work anyway...

Hrmmm.... I guess no one here has done/is doing one of these workshops? oh well, it's next weekend, so I guess I'll find out soon enuff.

Lost in Place |
I looked into going to one of these, but in the end I decided against it because I worried it would be $200 spent to have people tell me stuff I already knew. However, I write professionally (not travel writing), so that was a factor. They looked like they would be a good introduction to travel writing for someone who doesn't work in journalism or publishing.
