So I'm Googling myself as I am wont to do (kinky!) and come to find I'm a footnote in the Hawaii Tourism Authority's "Hawai'i Tourism Strategic Plan 2005-2015"

Well, not really a footnote, more of a reference I guess... the plan itself doesnt directly cite my article on sustainable tourism in HI, but includes it in a list of articles on the subject, at the end.

I thought that was kind of cool. heh.

yea, that's all I have to say. Smile

Dear Jeela-Footnote,

Where's your article at? Instead of working, I could be procrasti-reading about sustainable tourism in Hawaii. Inquiring minds want to know.

An interesting topic for tourists in general, right? Eco-tourism seems to be quite a buzzword in philippines tourism, but I'm not sure how it's implemented.

Congratulations footnote!

Google is scary...

I Googled myself a couple years ago just for grins and found that I didn't exist. Cool Then a few months ago, my biz partner and I launched a website to promote ourselves and....last week he called and asked if I'd ever googled myself. Did it again and up I jumped. To my horror, right before my eyes was my name, address, telephone number etc. Right in the search feature. Yikes. In one way it's good because people can find out website but still...

The other funny thing is apparently there are three of me. I'm also a professor at Colorado State University dontcha know and I happen to have a bitchin' '72 Corvette for sale in a different part of Washington state. Wierd since neither my first nor last name are all that common.

Heh.. I'm apparently doing time for killing my girlfriend in Glasgow, and have quite a rap sheet of priors... who knew? Luckily the "real" me only pops up in relation to my band, which I can deal with... but I admit I've been fairly careful bout trying to keep it that way Suspicious

The only time I've come up in Google was when I posted on an extremely geeky gamer site (Utopia, for anyone interested). My name directed people right to my dorky posting, probably having something to do with elves or trolls or something... Just the kind of thing I'd like people to associate me with. Eh, whatever... I still dig those games.

Anyway, I think that's gone now.
