Please note that this is not a paid position, however you will be placing your work in front of an audience of over 100,000 unique visitors per month and this number is growing steadily. Each of your posts will also feature a byline with web links where you're welcome to promote any website, cause, or offline work you like. The site is still in its infancy, but we *will* be paying all of our writers in the near-future.

Vagabondish is an online magazine that discusses offbeat backpacking and travel news, advice, how-to tips and tall tales from around the world. We currently have openings for regular travel blogger/writers for our "Features" section.

About the Features section:
- Updated regularly with timeless, cornerstone pieces (how-to tips, social commentary revelant to travel, better ways to do [x], etc.)
- Committed to topics relevant to backpackers and budget travelers
- Each post is approximately 1,000 words, though this is only a guideline
- Not your standard, glossy travel publication fare
- This section does not include topical, news-related or narrative pieces
- Please see www.vagabondish.com/category/features/ for examples

The Ideal Guys/Gals Will:
- Be smart, pithy, clever
- Be able to find relevant travel topics to write about on their own. You will essentially have free reign over your own work.
- Not be boring - someone who's insanely passionate about travel and backpacking and reads an unhealthy amount of RSS feeds, on- and offline travel publications, etc.
- Have a good sense of humor that translates well in their writing

If interested, please contact Mike via the Vagabondish website: vagabondish.com/contact/ and be sure to include your name, contact info, a bit about you and why you'd be a good fit, and links/attachments to any recent travel writing you've done.

Please note that how much you contribute is entirely up to you. Even if it's only one post a month, we'd still like to hear from you. Looking forward to hearing from everyone!

Cheers,
-Mike

No, not at all. You can leave the "Website" input box blank and simply submit the other info.

Thanks for your interest!

Cheers!
