I would like to know how long did it take for the guys at bootsnall to post some to the travel stories on the site from the date of submission.

It kinda varies. Travelogue and travel guide updates get "top priority" so to speak, as they tend to be more time-sensitive. We try to have those up within a few days to a week of receipt.

Stories can vary a lot more; sometimes they take a few days, sometimes we have to put them in a "backlog", which Chris mostly handles. He tries to keep in touch with the authors as well, so they know we have their story, but just won't have it up for a while. We're actually planning to hit that backlog over these next few months, and try to clear out most of it.

We try to be pretty on top of content, but as Chris and I are the only editors out of a staff of 4 that's not always easy. I hope we do all right by our writers though.
