From the depths of dispair, I think that I may be out of pocket for about a dozen photographs. I pitched a story about a local ceemtery to a travel editor & she asked that the story and my accompanying photos be sent to her in the mail. I sent along a self-stamped envelope with sufficient postage & a note asking that they be returned. I have heard nothing from her for months. I know that turn-around times can be excruciatingly slow so am I being unreasonable? It's bad enough when you can't sell a story but it sucks when you lose money out of the deal. *Sniff*

Have you attempted to contact her again? I somtimes have things that end up sitting in my email box and I forget about them...she may have them just sitting on her desk and needs a little bit of encouragement....
