Hi Everyone
As many of you know, I am trying to grow BootsnAll World Adventures into the ultimate resource for those adventurers looking to research adventure tours around the world. Currently I am trying to build more contents with stories and profiles, etc.

I am looking for thoughts, advice, constructive criticism and anything that will help build this section. I have lots of plans in the next few months but want to hear if you have any good idea or feedback.

A top 10 sounds great!

How about an adventure selector/suggestions...like some sort of drop down menu that lets you pick things from a drop down menu or check boxes (ie. Type of adventure: water, hiking, camping, air, horse, etc; Location (continent); price; etc), scans a database with the tours, and brings back a selection that fits into the categories you picked?

I know there aren't tons of adventure trips on the page yet, but possibly something for the long term?

Also, moreso out of curiousity..how do you go about selecting the companies/tours you sell on the site? I may have some hookups with a company in Belize...

Having recently returned from a fantastic backpackers hostel in North Wales, l must tell everyone about the service you can get from Snowdon lodge about walking , mountineering and all adventures in that area.

Snowdon lodge is in the small village called Tremadog on the edge of Porthmadog and is the birth place of Lawrence of Arabia.

The staff are really helpful and run a great estblishment and it only costs £13.50 with a light breakfast and you can party all night with its cosy bar.

I'm always looking at the adventure section but I'm admitting there is rarely something here that motivates me to respond.

I think the rationalle behind it is that when when the user goes to the adventure section they want to see death defying, edge of the seat chills and thrills, feats of human strength....that may be a bit of an exageration but you get the picture.....some adrenalin anyhow....not a Sunday bike ride in the park.

I put my hand up and admit I have posted a thread on 'bicycling Europe' (not the most exciting topic) and that only got one response...yours!!! (Where as someone posted a similar message in the chit chat section and it got 10 responses)

I think that many people here are thrill seekers so the section should kick off.

Look at the amount of people that are viewing the threads. You are drawing the numbers - but people are looking not responding.

We need excitement, we need something to motivate us to respond. Build the pace and draw people in.

Have some action pictures ,some polls. Some white knuckled stories.

I could go on for a while but theres a few suggestions anyhow...

Anyone for cycling? (ha ha)

Snowdon is great, have you ever done or heard of the three peaks....now that was an adventure!!!

Thanks Howdy Captain. This section is very new so we are in the process of growing. I have loads of plans for the next three months and it will become busy like the chit chat forum.
