Anybody spent much time in Rajasthan? I am thinking about going on this Rajasthan Adventure? I know it's a touristy area, but there is good adventure too?

This sounds great they are covering the off beaten track towns also like Bikaner and Jaisalmer. Jodhpur (see my story on BNA) is also relatively okay not as touristy as Jaipur and Udaipur. Adventure -hmmmm... a camel safari in Thar. Didnt' someone recently write about this. I am sure I read it right here.
Dont miss on the camel safari. Camping at night under a starry sky on a sanddune is a great experience. ----------------------------------- Tax tales and travel tales. Curious? Go to The Writer's Cyberslate |

Agree that it takes you to regions like Sekhawati..famous for the Havelis, Abu and Bikaner..but I don't see any adventure. I see a tour of Rajasthan with some off the beaten track.
I guess being in India would be a adventure in itself..but if you ask me one can do this themselves.Bikaner is famous for a snack called Sev...yummm...don't forget to have that. The other off the beaten place is Ajmer. But seems like they pack a lot more in 22 days that one can do on their own.
