Anyone care to share what animal they are most excited about seeing on a Safari? There are so many that it is hard to pick just one but after watching a special on Cheetah's and their relationship's with Thomson's Gazelle I couldn't help but be fascinated by their quick moves and elusiveness. They are really graceful and small with a neat color pattern.

I learned that they only sleep for about an hour and a half per day and during that hour and a half they only sleep in 1-5 minute increments. That kicks ass.

Oddly, it was the warthog when I went. (It reminded me of my similarly shaped dog back home. Smile ) The experience was a bit tainted a few days later when I saw a small one in a lion's mouth...

The area I was in had so many gazelles and other like-species that it was ridiculous. It was definitely "feeding time".

Excited for your trip Joey. It's gonna be great.
