Hell, that's been going on in Detroit for ages. In a city so full of abandoned buildings and warehouses, it doesn't take long before people start exploring them. One of my favorites was always the old train station.
If you can manage getting up the 15 or so levels, with hardly any stairs left, to the roof, it's an awesome view watching the sun rise over Canada and the river. But that's also essentially how the whole rave warehouse scene started... Richie Hawtin got together some generators, speakers, and turntables and threw parties in the abandoned Packard auto plant. There's a couple sites dedicated to the Ruins and abandoned buildings of Detroit. It's actually pretty interesting stuff.... well, to me at least... __________________________________________________________________________________ If women had any idea, even for a second, of how we really looked at them, they would never stop slapping us.
