Hey All,

Eric from AdventureLogue here. Got a couple nominations for "ultimate adventure" possibilities over at the old 'logue.

Check out the Plymouth-Banjul Challenge, a budget version of the Dakar Rally.

Also, BnA bloggers tell us about their Year-long adventure honeymoon;

Ever wonder what gorgeous locale provided the backdrop for such a trite story in Eragon? Here's the answer.

Finally, check out the top adventure destinations of 2006.

Happy New Year!

Hey Eric,

Do you know anyone who has done the Plymouth-Banjul Challenge? Any experiences on that one? Sounds kind of exciting.

My boyfriend loves that kind of stuff. He's been to Wales twice to watch the world rallies...some talk of maybe going down to Leon, Mexico to check it out in the future...

Can't say I do personally. Check the website. It's on my AL post.

What's the race called in Leon?

The race in Leon is part of the World Rally Championships -- professionals. If you look towards the top banner, you can select the flags to look at some info on the various rallies they have all over the world.

To watch parts of the rallies, you have to go to some pretty remote areas, slosh through mud, do a bit of hiking and such. And when the cars flip over, the crowd runs over to flip them back upright.
