I found this article that shows a sign of hope for travelers when they head off on trips to exotic locations (or deemed to be exotic, unstable locations) around the world. Recently insurance companies would not cover you if you traveled to places like Nepal, Kenya, and Indonesia - even Israel.

I have been to both Kenya and Indonesia and while there are problems in remote parts of the country, this shouldn't affect the 99.999 percent of people who are just going for a safari or a beach trip.
