BootsnAll has 2 spaces open on a K2 trek in Pakistan departing on July 18. It's a high traverse trek in the Karakoram mountains. This trek straddles the Trango Towers on the way up and follows the Baltoro Glacier before crossing the legendary Gondogoro pass at 18,300 feet and descending again. It's 24 day adventure, starting and ending in Islamabad.

Price is between $4795 to $5995 depending upon the final number of people. This excludes airfare. You must have previous trekking experience and be prepared for long days into remote wilderness to elevations above 18,000 feet. Technical climbing on snow and ice may be involved as well as camping for a number of nights in extreme conditions. There is a Western guide on this trip.
