Has anyone ever done any caving while traveling? I cave constantly here in Virginia/West Virginia, but I've heard legends of caves in Mexico and central America that make my mouth water! Anybody into caving/heard of caves/met foreign cavers in any country? If I went somewhere, I don't know how I'd come across someone who knew about caves.

Did you ever do any urban exploration? There's some interesting sites online about it.

Ooooh, caving is sooo fun!!!
We abseiled down a waterfall into the cave, then later abseiled down another waterfall and another dry abseil. Had to do quite a bit of crawling...one space we had to crawl through, tilt our head up because there was water and a pocket of air...then it opened up into a large room. It was an amazing experience. Would do it again! |
