All the more reason for us BNA'ers to climb it on New Years Day.

I'm assuming this is seasonal? (don't have time to read the whole article because i'm at work)

Or is the snow going to be gone for good?

Yes, this is very sad about Kilimanjaro. The thing is, it supplys a huge amount of resources (water) to the valley below it. Millions of people and animals survive on this.

Is this the beginning of the end?

The water down below comes from the atmosphere not from the glaciers.

Ah our great planet heads into a NORMAL WARMING CYCLE.

Sit back enjoy the ride,in the last warming cycle....they called it the time of plenty, sounds better then global warming. Less scary, but will cost more.

We just have to put a limit on those damn volcanios, I heard they where thinking of getting SUV's.

I heard that they found all the SUV's that ended the last ice age. Seats big enough for mammoths to drive....

Been there, done that, be back, do it again....
