Avoid it. I was bumped from an overbooked New Palm Hostel (which seemed nice) and sent here. The location is perfect, right near the Jaffa Gate, walking distance to everything, just at the beginning of David Street. There is a view from the first floor of the Temple Mount that is postcard-perfect. However, uninterested staff. Private room with private bath larger than I had expected but bed bugs kind of ruined the stay. This was Room #18. I stayed here the last week in July 2007.
