I've decided on the following for my trip..Any thoughts, suggestions, tips would be welcome..
I'm planning on booking for Apr-14 and returning May-5..Flight costs go up after that period.
I used some of the posts here to scout out the hotels..thanx

Cairo - 7 days
Either Garden City or Happyton hotel
Luxor - 5-6 days
Either Nefertiti or Little Garder

back to Cairo for Flight to Kuwait
I havent decided wether to stay the night before the flight in cairo or not..
I guess it'll depend on the flight times. I checked on going from Luxor to Kuwait and it adds $200.go figure.

Kuwait - 3 days
Either Hawalia Continental or Ibis Salmaya

Dubai 3 Days
Either Gulf Pearl, Panorama or Panorama Deira

Total lodging costs are less than $650 (kuwait and dubai or highest..hehe).

If anyone has any tips, etc...How much should I plan for food and such? Fire away

My Kuwait plan may be delayed, so I am considering adding Aswan for a few days...I looked around and found the following hotels...any thoughts on these also?

It looks like a great itenerary to me. I'm glad you're adding Aswan, I really enjoyed my time there. It was a very mellow feeling city (for Egypt that is). Unfortunately, I can't give you any hotel info or even budget info because it's been too long since I was there.

Hehe..I may put Aswwan off, as I am going to Kuwait after all...Which is good, 'cause it gives me an excuse to return to egypt

Cairo is either Garden City or Happyton, whichever responds to my question first..hehe.
