Hey. I just booked a rt ticket to Jordan this May and I am estatic. I know that you can get a visa at the airport or in advance. Is it easier/better to do this in advance or at the border?

Thanks!

I'll be arriving in Jordan the begining of April, and I'm not getting a visa ahead of time. Everything I've read online and in guide books says there's no need to get one in advance.

If someone has different advice from that, I'd be very interested to hear about it so I could change my visa plans!

I just found out that the one in NYC does not process Visa's. We will need to send them down to Washington.

I hate mailing my passport! Where do you think we should go to get photo's? I think that having extra on hand might been needed for the Omani and UAE visa's as well.

You'll have no problem getting one when you arrive. I came overland from Syria and it was a piece of cake (it just takes 15 mins or so). I think the price was 10 JD. Of all the ME countries, I think Jordan is one of the easiest in this respect.
