I am working in Kuwait and have a 4 day weekend. Been to Dubai, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain and Turkey but never to Egypt. I want to go diving..

I searched and there are hundred of locations to go, i was hoping some one could recomend a hotel and a dive shop.

Budget is good, so i can spend

Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

Couldn't recomment anywhere in Sharm el Sheik, but Dahab Divers in Dahab (maybe an hour, tops, away from Sharm) is wonderful, and the diving around there is supposed to be really good. We only stayed one night (we were unfortunate enough to arrive immediately after last year's bombing, and decided not to stick around, ended up doing our diving from Aqaba, instead), but it was a great, almost brand new hotel, the people were really helpful, and, like the hotel, all the dive gear appeared to be new and in good condition.

From what I've heard of Sharm, it's more a traditional resort place - where you more or less stay your whole trip within the confines of the resort, while Dahab is a laid back town where there's more interaction with local people. All I saw of Sharm was the bus station, so I don't know what the coasts like, but I think it would be hard to compete with Dahab on beauty.
