I got a sample itinerary from Caravan Turkey for September but I need help modifying it. I was mainly interested in their cooking classes. Someone mentioned Bodrum sucks so I want to change that part for sure...and dont want to be on a scheduled tour the whole time. anyway please check it out, your advice would be greatly appreciated...

3 nights accomodation in single room including breakfast at Hali Hotel in Istanbul Sultanahmet area in the heart of old city
Return Istanbul - Bodrum-Istanbul domestic flight ticket
5 nights accomodation in Gokpinar Retreat Center
All meals in Gokpinar
Beach trips
Cooking classes in Gokpinar (the meals will be cooked with you and the recipes and explanation of meals will be told in English)
Transfer to Bodrum
2 nights accomodation in Bodrum
Single room including breakfast at Seckin Best Hotel in Bodrum city centrum
Day yacht trip including lunch
Turkish bath including sauna+scrub+soap massage
2 days over night guided tour of Ephesus ancient city and Pamukkale(Hierapolis)
1 night half board(breakfast+dinner at thermal resort)
Bellydance show in Pamukkale hotel by the dinner

Somehow, you have to fit in a few days of Goreme. And yes, Bodrum sucks.

Thermal baths are nice but I don't think it is a must---I would trade that in to see more sites or something

Skip all day turkish bath.

Skip Bodrum.

There are Turkish baths in many places, and you can have a 2 hour Turkish Bath with almost as much pleasure.

Just make sure to find the ones that don't cater to certain classes of men, unless you're looking for that.

Goreme seems more appropriate than Bodrum, to be sure.
