Is there a ferry going from Cyprus to Israel? And if so, how frequently does it run and what's the duration? I searched the message boards and saw some posts saying the ferry has shut down. Thanks!

my understanding is that there used to be regular ferry service, but that it shut down in 2005 and has started back up since.

Sorry I didn't see this post sooner... Ferry service HAS resumed between Haifa Port, Israel and Limassol, Cyprus.

if you're paying in dollars, good chance it is cheaper to fly cyprus airways direct than paying for the ferry.
