As I am off to the Middle East within a few days for the jobhunting , I also thought I'd wet my appetite a bit in advance Smile

I have Haifa, Tel Aviv, Herzelya, Jerusalem, Eilat, Dead Sea and Nazareth on my 'to visit' list, but I'm sure there's a lot of other great places to visit. Any ideas? Visits may occur while living there as well in case I'd get the job of course, it doesn't all have to be in one week Smile

Also, which of the cities or towns is the most multicultural? One of the things attracting me in Israel is the combination of Middle Eastern and Western culture, so I would fancy a place to live where both of those influences reflect. Any hints?

I didn't see this post since I don't check the boards that often anymore. Did you go and come back already?
As someone from Northern Ireland, which place did you like the most?

If you didn't go already, I'd stay stay away from Sderot right now.
