has there been any feedback on this? I'm interesting in tour companies that do trips through out the Middle East.

I owe a review of Fez Travel to Donovan, and someday I will get around to writing it.

Rachel-

While I haven't used them, I've heard great things about Intrepid from folks that have used it in Asia.

They seem to be a great mix of guided and independent travel. If I ever have money I may very well use them Smile

Chris,

Interpeid seems great. I like the set up so your not being dragged around on a tour the whole time. But they don't seem to have a lot going to the Middle East. It's one of the few places I'd feel uncomfortable travelling alone.

What exactly are you looking for? I'm not an expert on the middle east, but it's one of the few places I really want to travel at the moment.

Did you see the big trek they have from Egypt, up through Jordan, Syria, and on over to Turkey? That seems like a hell of a lot to do to me Wink

The only catch I see is that you'd have to visit Israel by itself.

Are you planning this trip soon?

At the moment I'm trying to "squeeze" something into the little time of that I have to work with this year. I'm interesting in Eqypt and Jordon. And I may have as little as 10 days to work with. Time is a really issue, but I'm determined to go somewhere this year.

Don't squeeze, you'll only be mad later. Take what time you have, and enjoy the sights you do see. You will miss 99.9% of the countries you visit, guaranteed. But you'll have the .1% to enjoy forever. You can always go back. If you flog it trying to cram too much into a short time, you'll miss whatever you've got the chance to see. Have fun.
