I will be relocating to Kuwait City on April 15th. I have been to Kuwait many times for meetings, never to live though. I have no idea what area to live in, what apartments cost, what should I expect to pay for a leased car, how hard is it to open a bank account, get a cell phone... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I ve been to kuwait and kuwait city through the military. It is not the best of place to be.

It is not hard to open a bank account, and yes they do have cell phone companies, but their apartment is pretty expensive. Kuwait is not cheap at all. Outside of kuwait..it is like death valley..it is all desert. Kuwait Arabs pretty much stick to themselves, and don't stare at their women for they find it offensive.
IF you want to have a drink or party a bit...they sometimes have parties on the ship..sometimes you will get to meet some foreign woman there.
Overall, kuwait sucks!... how long are you going to be over there?
