Hi All, I am thinking of going to Istanbul in September with EasyJet.
Now I was just wondering if I can get from Istanbul to Jordan fairly easily and if it would be expensive. I would only be able to stay in Jordan for a couple of days...but I have a very close friend over there that I haven't been able to see in several years, so it would be worth it. Any idea's? And are there any websites that I can look at for timetables and costs? I'm assuming it would be by Boat...as I can't afford to Fly it... Thanks. |

You can take a train from Istanbul to Damascus, and then a bus from Damascus to Amman, Jordan. It takes roughly 29hrs, and costs roughly $67. It may also be necessary to spend a night in Damascus, depending on how you plan your trip. You can find more info at Seat61.

I guess I was hoping for a quicker journey than that...but thanks for the advice though goodlookinrebel..much appreciated!!
I've looked on Expedia for Flights and they come out at approx £200 for a return...which I think is a huge amount of money... I'm off to look at whichbudget.com and see if they can offer anything. |
