My visa for Syria did not go through, therefore my overland route through the Middle East Levant area has been thwarted. I need to bypass Syria somehow, and I find this to be difficult.

Anyone know of some cheap airlines to fly from Ankara to Amman/Tel Aviv?

Or, anyone know of ferries that go through Cyprus or such to get across the Mediterranean?

I would like to spend least money possible. Thanks!

There is an on and off ferry from Cyprus. Last time I heard it was off. Your best bet may be a cheap flight to egypt or jordan from Istanbul or Ankara.

545 from istanbul to Cairo. From there you can get to Israel by bus, probably.

Flights to Israel will be a bit more.

Nothings cheap. Virtually all international flights to and from Turkey fly from Istanbul, except for a few charter flights from Europe to Antalya. But Ankara-Istanbul-Tel Aviv is the cheapest I found for $458, or $482 to Amman, both on Turkish Airlines. Either Amman or Tel Aviv come in around $380 for the same date (I randomly checked Nov 13) from Istanbul...in this case the cheapest Amman flight was Royal Jordanian.
