Ok folks, it's finlly here. The moment you've been waiting for (at least pretend you have )

This Tuesday, at about 7:30 PM or so, a few of us are going to meet up at the Cat and Fiddle which is located here and is just a few blocks away from the hollywood/highland metro station. I think it's aboot a 5 block walk.

So, if ya wanna come on out, feel free to join us. We will be the loud folks drinking and talking bout travel. Or, send me a PM with email/phone #.

Just a note that the beer is cheaper at the Cat during happy hour (5-7pm)... and if you see a short English guy named Leigh on the bench next to the door, tell him I say "hi".

oh good - i'll be there well before 7pm to join in the happy hour.

I likely will be down on the strip an hour or two before the 'main event' to tour around. If anyone else knows they're going to be down early, feel free to PM me for my phone number. Otherwise just see you all at Cat & Fiddle.

I'll be at the bar wearing one of my two orange shirts - one is very loud and obnoxious and the other is a bit tamer (and long sleeved) - so hopefully it's a cool evening - otherwise, bring your sunglasses...

P.S: any suggestions where to park in the area?

Hey you guys,

You can park on Sunset starting at 7:00 pm after rush hour. Before that, try one of the side steets but watch the signs for tickets. Lots of permitted areas, and they do ticket. I should be over around 7:15 or so.

Darn, I should be watching the boards more closely. I'll check with the hubby to see if he want's to take a ride. It's about 1 1/2 hours in traffic.....Yuk!

Long Beach would have been better. Less traffic.
