What are tags?
Wow - I had no idea there were so many family travel web sites now. We could not find any before we left.
There are a bunch of the older sites listed here:

I just found two more:
http://travelingwithelliot.blogspot.com/
http://www.deliciousbaby.com/
They are not RTW blogs, but the second one is particularly good for families traveling with very young children.

We came back from our one year RTW trip in August (WT & I went through the planning stages together). Just thought I'd slip in our blog as well (although it's still not finished as I had technical difficulties in Europe and never recovered).
Career Break Central
Here's a link to another Mom who lived vicariously through us while we were travelling and has just embarked on her own adventure with her three kids:
It's the journey we seek... destinations are extra
To those of you who are in the dreaming/planning stages, it's totally worth it and is an experience you and your kids will never forget. To those of you who are on the road, I'm jealous, a part of me will never lose the wanderlust.
Happy Trails!

Wow! I had no idea there were so many people who traveled the world with their children, and shared their journeys with others. These sites have been very interesting to look at. Thank you for compiling the list.

Congrats! Buying that first fateful ticket is very exciting! Let me tell you the next 7 months until take off will go much faster than you imagine.
You were mentioned in the very first post, but it is good to see you weighing in for yourself here. I think you are the only one who is planning travel with that large of a brood. LOL. I really admire your gumption!
So glad to see you back on the forum kidsnall!! Gee, sorry, I missed you in my list of names. You are listed on my blog, but some how I missed it here....some of that is our habit of juggling laptops.
(I can only copy these things off of one laptop)
It felt really strange when your trip ended. Sixintheworld and a few others that took off when we did, ended then too. I felt like the kid still out playing basketball, when everyone else had gone home for supper.
Now there seems to be a bunch of others starting or planning a trip & it is funny how it seems to go in spurts. I hope you are doing well in your new home and who knows maybe we will meet up again. Our kids did have a ball together and the time went by so fast. It was funny to hear them talk about things that few kids could relate to.
I hope you do eventually finish your blog. I can understand how hard it is to keep up with it on the road with a family. It is a LOT more challenging handling all the pictures and blogging as you go than one imagines..... and we go at a much slower pace than most. Then once you get behind, it is hard to catch up and writing in the past is somehow more challenging, because the current reality is impacting.
You have a fantastic story, so keep writing it. I always check it from time to time. As our Africa journey gets closer, I look forward to reading about yours! You won't see me climbing any mountains though.
19 months into our family trip around the world, with no end insight ( I think we have become permanent global nomads), I can truly say that there is nothing better in life. It is so exciting to see and know so many wonderful families that dare to live a dream!!

Wow oh wow!
I had no idea! I can hardly believe all the stuff some people have managed to pack into their "year off". I'm tired just reading about it all. And I'm now seeing the wisdom in following the sun around the globe - we're heading for Mongolian winter so we have no choice but to take thermals and woollies....we could travel so much lighter without all that!
Thanks for collating all these links. I'll have many an evening's reading ahead of me, all bookmarked and ready to be dipped into.

this is not a family travel blog, but would be of interest to travelling children - she's travelling the world searching for candy!
