Hi all, my wife, daughter and myself will be leaving on a 7 month trip from SEA to Europe in 5 weeks time, and I have found all of the blogs listed here so helpful.
We have set up our own blog at www.bangkoktokrakow.com as a journal of our trip so our friends and family can keep tabs on us (especially the grandparents)

Re: Family Travel Blogs
I've really enjoyed reading other people's travel blogs over the past couple of years, and have now started my own. We are planning a rtw trip with our three children, leaving in about a year and a half, so will be recording our planning process for the time being.

Well done. So now there is officially no turning back. Once you start a web site, you're committed to go!!

Thanks. It's kind of scary putting it all down in print/on the computer, but it's nice to have an outlet for all my thoughts about travel. It does make it all seem more real!

Re: Family Travel Blogs
Just to let everyone know that I have set up a very big searchable list of RTW family blogs - https://globalprices.dabbledb.com/page/globalprices/ZwDnOqmM
(If you are asked for a username and password, leave them blank and click OK.)
This is a searchable database containing over 50 links to blogs by other travelling families, along with who they are, where they are from, when they travelled and where they went (and occasionally, how much it cost). All the information presented here is already in the public domain; I have merely organised it for convenience of research.
If you are planning your own trip (as we are), you can search this page to find (for instance) everyone who visited Easter Island, everyone from the UK, everyone travelling after July 2009, etc.
The date search is especially powerful; you can type any of the following into the ‘When’ search box: 'Jan 2006', '2 years ago', '6 months from now', 'after Jul 2009', 'before 2008', etc.
If you have any corrections or additions to this list, please send me a PM.
Oh, and our family RTW blog is going live at last (see below)...
